Big Day Out has announced its heaviest headliners in more than a decade with Tool, Rammstein and Iggy And The Stooges preparing to rock next year's festivals.
Bloody Beetroots, Death Crew 77, Deftones and The Black Keys are also to take part in the popular 2011 summer shows.Not since 1997 - when Sepultura, Soundgarden and The Offspring headlined Big Day Out - has the line-up been so rock-heavy.
Primal Scream will perform their classic 1991 album Screamadelica in its entirety for the first time on Australian soil.
Lupe Fiasco, Grinderman and Edward Sharp And The Magnetic Zeroes are also on the bill, while the inclusion of MIA, LCD Soundsystem, Booka Shade, Vitalic and CSS should appease fans of dance and electro music.
There is also a strong showing of Australian artists including the John Butler Trio, Wolfmother, Angus And Julia Stone, Birds Of Tokyo, Bliss N Eso and Gyroscope.
The festival will play in Auckland, the Gold Coast, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth across dates in January and February.
