The teutonically supercharged Rammstein have been stunning music fans since 1994 and have never taken themselves too seriously. With their growling, guitar-tastic, mostly-in-German heaviness, the MTV and Grammy-nominated band have been going from kraft zu kraft (‘strength to strength’ in German, we looked it up).

Rammstein Prepare to Expose Their Best Bits

Germany's reigning industrial-metal gang Rammstein have announced the upcoming arrival of a new CD/DVD set called Made In Germany 1995 – 2011, which the band says will contain twenty of the band's "most significant tracks," as well as a brand new song... and best of all, the first complete collection of all their official music videos to date. The band is also launching a new tour to promote the compilation release. Hit the jump for more info, and check out a couple of their classic clips!

Rammstein's musical output is a natural fit for sinister cinema (Trent Reznor picked two of their songs for the soundtrack to David Lynch's chilling Lost Highway), but their own visual output is even more mind-blowing: the band has turned out dozens of creepy, sexy, violent and boundary-busting videos since they first hit the metal scene in the mid-'90s. The video for "Pussy," the first single from their 2009 album Liebe Ist Für Alle Da, was so explicit it had to be hosted by a porn site (it soon became one of the year's hottest viral videos), and other clips have been censored or banned from TV. So any official compilation of all their visual material is a definite must-have.

The promised new track on the Made in Germany CD will probably be "Mein Land," because the band has just completed shooting a new video for that title, and the song itself has already been leaked.

The European tour kicks off on November 6th, and the band says they're designing an entirely new stage presentation. They've done a few one-off shows in the US (including a live appearance onJimmy Kimmel last month), but North American fans will have to wait until next year for that phase of the tour. It will definitely be worth the wait, because a live Rammstein show is a mind-blowing (and almost life-threatening) experience.

Rammstein To Tour The UK In 2012

The industrial metal behemoths will tour the UK next March and one of the dates has already been revealed!

Rammstein, owners of one of the greatest live spectacles in the whole of music, are to play the UK in March, 2012. The only date to be revealed thus far is at the MEN Manchester on March 1st, which will go on sale on July 8th. Details can be found here!

RAMMSTEIN GET READY TO TOUR AGAIN

When it comes to bands putting on a show in the live arena, not many are capable of living up to the performances delivered by Rammstein. A great number of performers think they give value for money but the pyrotechnics and on-stage variety, coupled with the intense music, means that many fans have dubbed the Rammstein live experience as one of the best they have ever seen. This makes news of their upcoming shows all the more exciting for Metal fans all over the world.

Mein Land Tipped To Be New Single

The group is said to be preparing a greatest hits album, which is scheduled to be released in September 2011. This will be followed by a full-scale world tour with some tour dates starting to drip out. A confirmed date in Prague has been announced for the 11th of November and it is believed that a full-scale tour of mainland Europe will take place around this show.

Rammstein Likely To Be Busy In The Future

It has also been tipped that the band will be performing in the UK in March, with a gig at the MEN ARENA IN Manchester having been confirmed for the 1st of March.
Following this, there are high expectations that the group will be carrying out a 21 date tour of North America in May 2012, which is definitely something to look forward to. Controversy never seems too far away when Rammstein are in town so these gigs could be something special.

RAMMSTEIN To Release Retrospective CD/DVD; European Tour

German industrial metallers RAMMSTEIN have assembled a retrospective of their most significant songs, to be released in the fall in conjunction with the band's new European headlining tour. Entitled "Made In Germany 1995 - 2011", the set will include 20 of RAMMSTEIN's best tracks, one new song, as well as the entire video catalogue for the first time on CD/DVD.

RAMMSTEIN's European headlining tour will kick off November 6 and will feature a completely new show.

RAMMSTEIN performed the song "Du Hast" on the May 19 episode ofABC-TV's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!". You can now watch video footage of the band's appearance below.

RAMMSTEIN's latest album, "Liebe Ist Für Alle Da", sold 22,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 13 on The Billboard 200 chart. Previously, the group's best rank came with its 1998 chart debut, "Sehnsucht", which peaked at No. 45 off the strength of its only U.S. radio chart hit, "Du Hast". 

"Liebe Ist Für Alle Da" arrived in stores on October 20, 2009 through a marketing and distribution deal with Vagrant Records and Universal Music Germany. The album was produced by Jacob Hellner andRAMMSTEIN, with recording done at Northern California's Sonoma Mountain Studio. The first single from the 11-track release was "Pussy", which was released as a digital single on September 22, 2009 and accompanied by one of the year's most viral videos.
